Delivering Food, Shelter, and Hope to the Poorest of the Poor.

Farm Animals

Countless Haitian families go to bed hungry every night. They wake not knowing where their next meal will come from. Stomachs ache and bodies wither. In time, these families’ hopes succumb to a daily, overwhelming despair.

Father Glenn Meaux has a heart for Haiti’s poor, and he’s working to change their lives and end this hunger. This year, he needs your help to supply poor subsistence farmers with a practical, renewable resource that fits their rural way of life: livestock.

Your gift through Cross Catholic Outreach will bless a needy family with a cattle — robust animals families can breed for long term food and income. The recipients are then shown how to “pay it forward” by giving back one of the offspring to be raised by another poor family.

A $30 gift can provide veterinary treatment for this animal Husbandry program. In rural Haiti, a meal of rice and beans will feed a family for a day, but a gift of a farm animal can help sustain them for the long run

Our Promise to You – Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for Christmas Catalog Farm Abunaks incurred through June 30, 2018, the close of our ministry’s new fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
