The goal of the Gawad Kalinga project is to transform dirty, dangerous
slums into safe, beautiful communities with the hope of a brighter
future. The construction plans for Hiyas Ng Maynila, a slum located in
metro Manila, include brick walkways, brightly painted walls, potted
plants, and parks with playgrounds for the children to play. The
Community Center will offer educational programs and health care while
encouraging stewardship, accountability, team effort, and unity. Please

experience a real, sustainable transformation of their lives.
