Through the General Fund, Cross can quickly respond to crises such as natural disasters, meet unexpected emergencies experienced by our worldwide ministry partners, as well as support long-term efforts to break the cycle of poverty. Your gift to the General Fund in 2008 enabled Cross to meet these urgent needs.

In many instances, the General Fund fills the gap between the donations we received for an individual project and the cost to complete it.  Sometimes, no restricted funds are received for a particular project.  In those cases, monies are transferred from the General Fund so that we can implement these important projects.  Below are some of the many projects we were able to accomplish in 2008 with help from the General Fund...
