Delivering Food, Shelter, and Hope to the Poorest of the Poor.

Orphans

WE RESCUED ORPHANS AND GAVE THEM HOPE

Cross Catholic Outreach works throughout the developing world to meet the basic needs of orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children. Our goal is to cultivate young hearts and minds for the Lord, to bring the poor spiritual peace, and to unleash the potential of boys and girls to achieve a more prosperous future. We make this outreach a priority because the sooner vulnerable children are reached, the more likely they will escape the self-destructive behaviors created by their early childhood traumas. Love overcomes fear and opens the door to hope and opportunity.

In 2016, we provided grants for 28 projects, and shipped material aid to four partners, ultimately assisting and empowering orphans and vulnerable children in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. A portion of that funding helped Caminando Por La Paz in Guatemala provide meals and educational support for at-risk children in an urban slum, and operating support for the Ursuline Sisters to provide care for poor girls at St. Ann’s Home in Guyana.

ST. ANN’S HOME – PROJECT 0104 & 0922 – GUYANA

In 2016, Cross Catholic Outreach helped the Ursuline Sisters in Guyana provide care and scholarships to 33 at-risk girls at St. Ann’s Home. Because these girls have lost one or both parents, or have been removed from their homes by Guyana’s Social Services, St. Ann’s provides a place for them to heal and grow in their character and faith in Christ.
