Hope for the Future

June 4, 2013 by Cross Catholic Blog

Cross Catholic Outreach helps Antorcha de Vida (Torch of Life) in Ecuador improve the quality of life for 76 children with disabilities and special needs, especially those from low-income families. This important ministry provides vital physical and occupational therapy for children like 4-year-old Melanie with Down syndrome, whose poor parents struggle to maintain a steady income and give her the care she needs. With our support, Antorcha de Vida is able to offer Melanie hope for a better future through a loving staff that is working to strengthen her health, fine motor skills and education.
