Delivering food, shelter, and hope to the poorest of the poor
Cross Catholic Outreach
Ed Morrisey interviewed Jim Cavnar, president of Cross Catholic Outreach, about Cross Catholic Outreach’s Box of Joy ministry. It’s amazing to see the kids open the boxes. For many of them, this is the first Christmas gift they have ever received.
Cavnar explained that the 2021 Box of Joy outreach kicks off in September, and groups deliver gifts to their local drop-off centers during Box of Joy Week, Nov. 6-14. Any group that misses Box of Joy Week can ship their gifts to the National Screening Center in Miami. Our mission is to mobilize the global Catholic Church to transform the poor and their communities materially and spiritually for the glory of Jesus Christ. Your gift empowers us to serve the poorest of the poor by channeling life-changing aid through an international network of dioceses, parishes and Catholic missionaries. This cost-effective approach helps break the cycle of poverty and advance Catholic evangelization.
