Delivering food, shelter, and hope to the poorest of the poor
Scott Nale, WV Past State Deputy and current WV State Program Director, is a Knight who frequently takes advantage of Cross Catholic Outreach programs as a means to engage and energize councils in his state! Scott spearheaded or supported numerous state-wide food packing events over the years and to date, WV Knights have created over 500,000 meals for the poor! He also helped introduce WV Knights to the Box of Joy program last fall, a program that resulted in Knights there blessing over 2,000 children with a Christmas gift. Last June Scott was also instrumental in promoting one of the first virtual retreats offered by Cross Catholic, specifically created for Knights. In the “Year of St. Joseph,” this retreat, which was led by Fr. Dave Caron, O.P. and Missionary of Mercy, provided Catholic men and Knights from throughout WV with a unique opportunity to deepen their faith through an experience involving prayers, discussions and Mass.
Cross Catholic Outreach appreciates the opportunity to serve alongside Knights nationwide and we are especially proud this month to recognize Scott Nale for putting his faith into action through his support of our programs!
Our mission is to mobilize the global Catholic Church to transform the poor and their communities materially and spiritually for the glory of Jesus Christ.
