Cross Catholic Outreach is grateful for our partners in faith, the Knights of Columbus. This month, we’re proud to feature Grand Knight Anthony D. Diallo of Bishop Patrick J. Byrne Council #3877.
Anthony is a fourth-generation Catholic who became a Knight in July 2002. He has served as a Grand Knight on four different occasions, as well as District Deputy, Deputy State Warden and State Membership Director.
Bishop Patrick J. Byrne Council #3877 was chartered on June 23, 1954, and is known to the surrounding community as Byrne Manor. Led by Anthony, it is actively involved in parish and neighborhood initiatives, including charity events and supporting the parish community. It engages with established and new St. Francis Xavier Church members.
Altogether, the council serves four parishes in the District of Columbia. Anthony is exceptionally proud that his council has blessed children in developing countries by filling the most Box of Joy® gifts in the District of Columbia within the past four years.
