Every child deserves a Christmas gift.
Gift giving is a meaningful part of Christmas, but sadly, severe poverty deprives many children of this simple joy. By sending a Box of Joy — filled with toys, clothing, school supplies, a rosary and the Story of Jesus — you can demonstrate Christ’s compassion to an impoverished child who may have never before received a Christmas gift. $34 provides a box, and $102 provides three boxes.

Brandi Milloy joined Cross Catholic Outreach in the Dominican Republic, where she was able to see how a Box of Joy blesses children living in poverty. “These boxes give hope,” exclaimed Brandi. “They remind these children they are loved and prayed over. They create memorable experiences. Many of the children wanted to wait until they were home to open their box—too scared it wasn’t real and it would be taken away. They are tremendously grateful. Every single thing is desired and adored.”

She is an active parishioner at her home parish, American Martyrs Church in Manhattan Beach, CA where she serves in a variety of ministries. She also served as a Confirmation teacher for 8 years at St. Brendan’s Church in Los Angeles, CA.

Donations from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for the Christmas Catalog incurred through June 30, 2024, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
