Delivering food, shelter, and hope to the poorest of the poor
Water scarcity can take an immediate, physical toll on entire communities and many families around the world lack critical access to clean and safe water. Without clean water, families are prone to disease and farmers cannot adequately support their livestock and crops.
Cross Catholic Outreach supports numerous projects that deliver safe water to poor communities for drinking, bathing, cleaning, and agriculture.
Today, you can partner with us to help provide clean and safe drinking water to impoverished families in Haiti, Bolivia, Malawi and more!
Too often in the developing world, children tragically die of preventable illnesses caused by contaminated water. In rural Haiti, Fetude Louis can attest to this harsh reality. Out of 12 siblings, only she and her twin sister survived.
Fetude and her husband Henrio have worked hard to provide for their four children, but many of their basic needs still went unmet. The children were constantly sick with fever, diarrhea and skin infection and contaminated water was usually the cause.
A clean water well finally changed their lives for the better.
Now, the family lives in sanitary conditions has begun to thrive. With their basic needs met, Fetude and Henrio generate income by raising animals and selling garments. Fetude purchases food and supplies, and can even save for future needs.
The family are grateful members of the Kobonal Haiti Mission family. The children were all baptized and the two oldest receive the Eucharist. They gladly repay the generosity they’ve received by pitching in when the mission needs volunteers.
Access to clean water is one piece of our mission to transform poor communities materially and spiritually for the glory of Jesus Christ.

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures to provide safe and secure housing incurred through June 30, 2020, the close of our ministry’s new fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
Our mission is to mobilize the global Catholic Church to transform the poor and their communities materially and spiritually for the glory of Jesus Christ. Your gift empowers us to serve the poorest of the poor by channeling life-changing aid through an international network of dioceses, parishes and Catholic missionaries. This cost-effective approach helps break the cycle of poverty and advance Catholic evangelization.
