” We set forth our petitions before God, not in order to make known to Him our needs and desires, but rather so that we ourselves may realize that in these things it is necessary to turn to God for help. “
– St Thomas Aquinas

As our country responds to the COVID-19 coronavirus threat, our prayers are with each one of our friends and supporters. Please, stay safe, and above all else, remain strong in the peace of Christ.

In spite of these new challenges, Cross Catholic Outreach continues to serve the poorest of the poor, working through our trusted and capable overseas partners. We continue to:

  •     ●  Dig clean water wells in countries such as Kenya and Nicaragua to prevent waterborne illness and chronic dehydration.
  •
  •     ●  Build safe, sanitary homes in places such as Guatemala so families are protected from rainstorms and insect infestations.
  •
  •     ●  Provide daily meals for vulnerable children who would otherwise not get the nutrients they need to grow up healthy and strong.
  •
  •     ●  Distribute medicine and medical supplies to clinics and hospitals serving patients who cannot afford care.
  •

Additionally, we would like to hear your prayer requests. The staff at Cross Catholic Outreach pray daily for our donors, and we encourage you to send us your prayer intentions … for whatever is on your heart.  We believe God hears our prayers, and we are trusting in his mercy to carry us through this storm.

May God bless you and keep you safe.

Our Daily Prayer for You, Our Donors

Prayer for God’s Peace, Protection, Provision & Presence During this Pandemic

Dear Lord,

We acknowledge that you, our God and Father of all, are above all and through all and in all.

Therefore, we trust you and thank you in all circumstances.

Lord, we humbly petition your favor during these challenging times,

Upon our partners overseas, our donors here at home, and our Cross family.

Where fear tries to pervade, may your peace overcome.

Where illness tries to invade, may your protection overrule.

Where poverty tries to deplete, may your provision overflow.

Where isolation tries to defeat, may your presence overwhelm.

With gratitude, we ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.
