Delivering food, shelter, and hope to the poorest of the poor
St. John Paul II Academy Catholic School in Partnership with Cross Catholic Outreach Help the Hungry Overseas
80,000 Meals Packed in Four Hours at Florida Catholic School
On February 22, 2020, school teachers and students from St John Paul II Academy Catholic School in Boca Raton, FL joined together with Cross Catholic Outreach in the fight against world hunger.
Approximately 200 students spent their morning packing a total of 80,000 meals. Their service will allow Cross Catholic Outreach to provide its ministry partners overseas with shipments of Vitafood. These nutrient-enriched meals will feed malnourished children and families in poverty-stricken countries such as Guatemala, Haiti and Nicaragua for as little as 25 cents a meal.
