Fighting Hunger in Haiti and Around the World
Due to recent social unrest, gang activity and fuel shortages, hunger levels in Haiti have reached a catastrophic level.

By shipping prepackaged, protein-rich meals, and by purchasing locally in bulk, Cross Catholic Outreach can provide a hearty meal to feed a child for as little as 35 cents. That means a gift of $70 can provide 200 nutritious meals.
A gift of $70 can provide 200 meals, a generous gift of $350 provides 1,000 meals, and so on!
On Friday, October 9, 2026, Cross Catholic Outreach will team up with Saint Albert the Great Parish to pack 60,000 meals — 54,000 destined for families in dire need in developing countries and 6,000 donated locally to those facing food insecurity right here in our community.

On November 6-8, 2026, Cross Catholic Outreach will team up with the Saint Simon Church & School to pack 60,000 meals to be shipped to families in dire need in a developing country.
On Saturday, November 14, 2026, Cross Catholic Outreach will team up with the American Martyrs and Holy Family Parishes to pack 60,000 meals — 54,000 destined for families in dire need in developing countries and 6,000 donated locally to those facing food insecurity right here in our community.
On Saturday, February 13, 2027, Holy Spirit Catholic Church will partner with Cross Catholic Outreach to pack 70,000 meals for families in developing countries in dire need.
On Saturday, February 20, 2027, St. Patrick Catholic Church will partner with Cross Catholic Outreach to pack 60,000 meals destined for families in dire need in developing countries.
On Friday, March 19, 2027, Cross Catholic Outreach will team up with St. Ignatius Catholic Parish to pack 60,000 meals to be shipped to families in dire need in a developing country.
On Tuesday April 27, 2027, Cross Catholic Outreach will team up with Church of the Holy Trinity to pack 54,000 meals to be shipped to families in dire need in a developing country, and 6,000 meals for local distribution.
On Saturday, June 5, 2027, the Knights of Columbus will partner with Cross Catholic Outreach to pack 60,000 meals — 54,000 destined for families in dire need in developing countries, and 6,000 donated locally to those facing food insecurity right here in our community.
Last year, you provided 20.5 million meals for the hungry. Together, let’s feed even more of our brothers and sisters in need.

The Vitafood meals provided by Cross Catholic Outreach are answering the prayers of struggling parents across the developing world.
In the Dominican Republic, Berta Rodriguez, a single mother of five children, has been blessed by these meals and is grateful beyond words. Berta and her children, including Wualdy (pictured, left) and Arielvis (right), live in a small, two-room home. Berta occasionally finds work ironing or cleaning, but these temporary jobs make it difficult for her to keep food on the family’s table.
Thankfully, her children are able to attend community feeding programs organized by our in-country ministry partner, New Joy Foundation. The Rodriguez family and others also receive Vitafood to cook at home, so the children don’t go hungry. Your generosity makes these life-changing works of mercy possible!

Donations from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for this project incurred through June 30, 2027, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
