Medicine Donation Impact

Your Gift Provided Medical Aid to the Sick and Mended Broken Hearts

In 2019, Cross Catholic Outreach depended on your support to ship more than $310 million worth of medicines and medical supplies around the world. Believing that every life is precious to God, we partner with free and affordable health clinics to provide treatment and preventative care to patients who would otherwise be unable to access that lifesaving support. The programs we work with provide various services, including health consultations for children, prenatal care for expectant mothers, and antiretroviral therapy for sufferers of HIV/AIDS. Jesus came healing the sick, and as we seek to follow in his footsteps, we strive to do the same through Catholic missions around the globe.

For example, in Ethiopia your generosity helped the Brothers of Good Works provide maternal and infant care at St. Gabriel Health Center. And in Nicaragua, you supported Tim’s Clinic by providing medications for poor families and funding the salaries of a pediatrician and pharmacy assistant.

Ethiopia – Project 1429
Doctor treating a child

In 2019, Cross Catholic Outreach helped the Brothers of Good Works give free medical care to pregnant women and infants who would otherwise have been unable to obtain the quality care they needed. Cross Catholic Outreach funds supported staff salaries, medicine and supplies at St. Gabriel Health Center, which received nearly 1,044 women during the July-December period alone, and served 960 mothers during the January-June period. Of those women, 778 gave birth during this time. Maternal were screened for HIV, and all had access to vaccines, medicine, dietary supplements and other care needed to help them and their babies thrive.
