God’s Blueprint for Transforming Lives

Flimsy walls. Dirt floors. Leaky roofs. Haiti’s poorest families live in unimaginable conditions. Many fear even a simple storm might topple their shanties and leave them homeless at any time.

Fortunately, there is hope! Father Glenn Meaux’s Kobonal Haiti Mission has a plan to build and repair homes, restoring hope to these families in their hour of need. This fall, you can help us build 20 new concrete homes and make important repairs to 80 existing homes in the Diocese of Hinche.

For over three decades, Fr. Meaux’s team at the Kobonal Haiti Mission has been obedient to God’s call to care for the poor, and their holistic transformation strategy has included providing safe housing for poor families, restoring dignity and hope. Since the start of the program, the Mission has built 815 sturdy homes for families in need.

Follow God’s blueprint for success by helping build and repair safe homes for families in urgent need!

Kobonal Haiti Mission’s Holistic Strategy

Relieving Material and Spiritual Poverty

The Kobonal Haiti Mission does more than provide safe housing; it provides clean water, nutritious food, medical care, Catholic education, agricultural training, microenterprise and spiritual formation activities. As the Mission addresses both material and spiritual needs, it also strengthens families and the next generation. Change Lives With Safe Shelter

Kobonal Homes Renew the Dignity of Poor Families

Fr. Meaux made it his goal to renew the dignity of poor families by giving them humane living conditions and a safe place to raise their families. Over the years, the housing ministry has built 815 sturdy homes for families in need, but the work isn’t finished yet. Fr. Meaux needs your help to provide safe shelter for families still living in destitute conditions. Safe homes give the poor the security they need to break the cycle of poverty and strengthen their Catholic faith.

Dutremas and his family need your help to get out of their circumstances.

Dutremas Pierre

Dutremas Pierre is a single father raising his children in a mud and stick home that could collapse at any moment, making it terrifying to sleep at night.

“I ask God that while we are asleep, that we do not rely on ourselves, but we rely on him to protect us and have a good night, so we can be alive to see another day tomorrow,” Dutremas said.

Your support will answer his family’s prayer for relief with safe shelter.

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2024, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year.
