Hearty Meals for Children in Mozambique
Every Child Deserves a Life of Hope and Love

In Mozambique, about 49% of children live in extreme poverty and 1.6 million are orphans.

Gloria is one of the many vulnerable children suffering in Mozambique. She lives with her grandmother in a single room – with a leaking roof – in a destitute neighborhood in Mozambique. The family is so poor that even one simple daily meal isn’t taken for granted.

Cross Catholic Outreach believes every child deserves a life of hope and love. That’s why we partner with local organizations who provide direct service to orphans and vulnerable children.

GIVE NOW

Your gift this Lenten season will feed and care for a child like Gloria.

Through Cross Catholic Outreach, a hearty, healthy meal costs only a nickel and a dime! So a gift of $25, for example, provides enough food to bless 167 children in need with a nutritious meal!

” We find Jesus’ wounds in carrying out works of mercy… (Caring) for your wounded brother, because he is hungry, because he is thirsty, because he is naked, because he is humiliated, because he is a slave… Those are the wounds of Jesus today. And Jesus asks us to take a leap of faith, towards Him, but through these, His wounds.. “

In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
