Belize is a country on the eastern coast of Central America. It is the only country in Central America whose official language is English. Belize is bordered on the north by Mexico, to the south and west by Guatemala, and to the east by the Caribbean Sea. It has a diverse society, with many cultures and languages among them are Mayan, Creole, Garinagu, Mestizo, German-speaking Mennonites, and other groups. These include people from India, China, Canada, and the United States. During your week-long trip you will minister alongside our partners in the following types of programs:
- Feeding – Providing food to the poor.
- Home-repair – Work alongside locals repairing homes.
- Elder Care – Perform needed chores and visit the elderly.
- Education – Observe and help with many projects at the schools.
