Giving monthly is the most powerful way to have greater impact.
When you join our Mission Partner program, you are joining a community of monthly givers who believe that together, in Catholic faith, we can change the world.
Monthly gifts come in all sizes. Even very modest amounts are a great blessing because they come in steadily and add up quickly.
You’ll help individuals and families rise out of poverty by getting help to where it is needed most. You’ll provide access to clean water, food, housing, and education. And you’ll empower entire communities to grow spiritually and economically through Christ’s love.
Monthly giving through our Mission Partner program is the easiest way to make your donation do more. Your donation will help support 285 projects in 29 countries around the world. It will also allow us to respond quickly to critical needs arising from natural disasters such as hurricanes/cyclones, floods, earthquakes, droughts and volcanoes.
Last year were able to:
Cross Mission Partners help:
• Feed protein-packed meals daily to more starving and malnourished children.
• Build simple, safe, sturdy houses for suffering families.
• Deliver lifesaving water to communities that have no access to safe water.
• Respond to natural disasters or other emergencies in the communities we serve.
• Share the lifesaving message of Jesus with the least of our brothers and sisters.
• Meet other urgent needs as they arise.
By pooling funds provided through the regular contributions of our Mission Partners, Cross Catholic Outreach works with in-country Catholic church-based ministries to change lives.
Regular monthly gifts from our Cross Mission Partners provide us with a steady, predictable income that allows us to commit to life changing projects.
Without our support, many small local Catholic church-based programs that are extremely effective in ministering to the poor would simply not have the resources to do their work.
The Vieux family lived in a mud-walled, dirt-floored hut that flooded during hard rain. Without electricity, their home was shrouded in darkness. There was no toilet or running water, and danger from outside elements never ceased.
The future of the Vieux family looks brighter. Working together with the local Catholic mission, Cross Catholic Outreach is answering the family’s fervent prayer for a small, sturdy house where they will be safe.
Our ministry is transforming the lives of desperate families like the Vieux family through the combined small monthly gifts donated by Cross Mission Partners.
When Category 5 Hurricane Dorian wreaked havoc in the Bahamas and left more than 76,000 people homeless last year, Cross Catholic Outreach was able to act immediately, addressing the needs of thousands of impacted families. In the days and weeks after the disaster, we rushed out more than 540,000 meals and followed up with shipments of medicines and other critically needed resources to battered communities praying for help.
We were able to quickly cover much of the unexpected cost of this relief effort because of gifts provided by Cross Mission Partners! These gifts come in every single month without fail. We can always count on them, and they add up quickly to provide us with a powerful base of support to answer urgent needs.
We consider every gift we receive to be a precious resource from God. We direct every donation to its intended project, provide honest and accurate reports to our donors, and keep overhead costs to an industry low. We handle funds with utmost integrity and hold our ministry partners in the field to the same high standards by asking them to document costs and the impact of their outreach.
Rather than create new institutions to distribute aid, we support existing ministries and churches already serving the poor. In addition to being the most cost-effective way of helping the poor, empowering these ministries allows us to support the Church’s spiritual mission and its important position of leadership in poor communities.
Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for the ministries greatest needs incurred through June 30, 2020, the close of our ministry’s new fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
