Nourish Poor Children
with the Gift of Food
That was the perspective of Saint Teresa of Calcutta, who often spoke of “recognizing Jesus in the distressing disguise of the poor.” Answer our heavenly Father’s command to love — not just in word, but in deed — by providing food to hungry children.
Help poor children and their families receive their daily bread. Answer the cry for help of a child in need.
If you met Maritza, you’d be charmed by her shy smile. And your heart would break at discovering the heavy load she carries as an innocent 11-year-old girl.
Maritza lives with her mother and baby brother in a small rural village in Nicaragua. Many families, like hers, suffer from severe poverty. Her mother struggles to feed the children and herself. Some days they have almost nothing to eat.
See Jesus in the face of a poor child, and help children like Maritza and their families receive their daily bread.
Your prayers and gift will bless Maritza and other vulnerable children and families.

Our mission is to mobilize the global Catholic Church to transform the poor and their communities materially and spiritually for the glory of Jesus Christ. Your gift empowers us to serve the poorest of the poor by channeling life-changing aid through an international network of dioceses, parishes and Catholic missionaries. This cost-effective approach helps break the cycle of poverty and advance Catholic evangelization.
Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2021, the close of our ministry’s new fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
