Orphan Donation Impact

WE RESCUED ORPHANS AND
GAVE THEM HOPE

Clearly, God has a special place in his heart for at-risk children, and that’s why we empower our ministry partners to care for the world’s most vulnerable boys and girls. All over the earth, Catholic orphanages, schools and boarding homes are providing holistic care for precious children who have been orphaned, abandoned and abused — not only ministering to their basic needs, but also providing them with the professional counseling and spiritual formation that can free them from pain and ultimately transform their future.

In 2018, we provided grants for 33 projects for orphans and vulnerable children. We also supported three projects combating human trafficking and shipped material aid to nine partners, ultimately assisting and empowering orphans and vulnerable children in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. This funding helped St. Vincent de Paul Orphanage in Ecuador provide 24/7 care for orphaned and abandoned babies and provided operating support and constructed new dormitories at Home Incarnate Word in Peru.

Home Incarnate Word

Peru - Projects 1388 & 0653

In 2018, Cross Catholic Outreach funded the construction of new dormitories for the Home Incarnate Word, a boarding home for children from rural areas in the Andes Mountains. The ministry’s old dormitory was made from adobe, and it was crumbling to the ground. The new dormitories made it possible for the boarding home to serve more children and their families.
