Rev. Farrell McLaughlin

Rev. Farrell E. “Mac” McLaughlin

Father Mac spent a number of years in youth ministry as a teacher, chaplain, and spiritual director. The majority of his priesthood has been dedicated to parish work, where he served as a pastor for 25 years.

In recent years, Father Mac has pursued post-graduate work in alcohol and substance abuse and recovery. He has given Matt Talbot Retreats and 11th Step Retreats both in the United States and in Prince Edward Island. He is a member of the National Catholic Council on Addictions, the Guest House Institute, and serves as a spiritual advisor for the Diocesan Council of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.

Father Mac has a deep love for the poor and a passion for preaching and sharing the good news. He believes that all people can contribute to the betterment of society through their own stewardship of talent and treasure. Cross Catholic Outreach is fortunate to have Father Mac as a welcome addition to the team.
