Reverend Father Jude O. Ezeanokwasa, J.C.D., has preached across Africa, Europe and the United States. He is an expert canonist who feels passionately about encouraging people to uphold the Church’s preferential option for the poor and less privileged members of society.
Fr. Jude studied for the priesthood in Nigeria and was ordained in 1989. He holds doctorate degrees in civil and canon law and the Licentiate in Canon Law (J.C.L.) from the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome. He serves as a judge in the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Miami, a judge in the Ecclesiastical Tribunal of the Diocese of Awka, an adjunct professor of law at St. Thomas University and head of the Department of Customary and Religious Law at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Nigeria. He is also a member of the Presbyteral Council in the Diocese of Awka, chief chaplain of the Laity Council of Nigeria, a resident priest at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Nigeria and a visiting priest at the Little Flower Parish in Hollywood, Florida. He has many scholarly writing credits to his name.
Fr. Jude takes special joy in celebrating the Holy Eucharist of the Mass and administering the sacraments, especially that of reconciliation.
