Rev. Thomas A. Wantland

Father Wantland, born in Kokomo, Indiana, was ordained at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Marquette, Michigan on June 3, 1967. He holds a Master’s Degree in Divinity from St. John’s Provincial Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan.

Father Wantland has been involved in parish work for most of his vocation. He was pastor of St. Albert the Great University parish at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan from 1974 to 1984.

From 1989 to 2005, Fr. Wantland was parochial vicar at St. Charles Borromeo in Port Charlotte, Florida. Since 2005, he has been at St. Andrew in Cape Coral, Florida..

Father Wantland brings his extensive pastoral experience, strong sense of community, and love of the poor to Cross Catholic Outreach.
