Father Brian Carpenter, P.S.S., S.T.L., S.T.D. (Cand). is a Sulpician Priest from the Diocese of Rochester, NY. He is currently finishing his doctoral dissertation from the University of St. Mary of the Lake/ Mundelein Seminary while also serving on the faculty at St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, MD. At St. Mary’s he teaches Eschatology, Mariology and Doctrine of God and serves as a Mentor and Spiritual Director for seminarians.
Prior to joining the Sulpicians, Fr. Brian served as Parochial Vicar at Peace of Christ Parish in Rochester, NY and Blessed Trinity & St. Patrick parishes in Owego, NY. Ordained in 2009, Fr. Brian has been deeply committed and involved in parish schools and adult education. His volunteer work serving the homeless in Brooklyn, NY, has moved him to want to do more in the capacity of working on behalf of the poor in the US and the developing world. As an Outreach Priest for Cross, he is able to put his passion for those in poverty into action.
