Father Brian Carpenter, P.S.S., S.T.L., is a Sulpician Priest from the Diocese of Rochester, NY. He is currently working on his doctoral dissertation at the University of St. Mary of the Lake/ Mundelein Seminary. Prior to entering doctoral studies, Fr. Carpenter served as an Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at St. Mary’s Seminary & University in Baltimore, MD. He taught courses on Homiletics, Scared Scripture and Ecumenism.
Fr. Brian has served as Parochial Vicar at Peace of Christ Parish in Rochester, NY and Blessed Trinity & St. Patrick parishes in Owego, NY. Ordained in 2009, Fr. Brian has been deeply committed and involved in parish schools and adult education. His volunteer work serving the homeless in Brooklyn, NY, has moved him to want to do more in the capacity of working on behalf of the poor in the US and the developing world. As an Outreach Priest for Cross, he is able to put his passion for those in poverty into action.
