Agriculture supports health and community
When people in Guatemala think about the future, many find it hard to see beyond the cycle of poverty that has kept their families trapped for generations. Chronic child malnutrition affects Latin America widely, but the Diocese of Suchitepéquez-Retalhuleu has experienced it more acutely than most. When parents struggle to put nutritious food on their table, it is difficult to dream of anything more than meeting the needs of the moment.

Donations from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for this project incurred through June 30, 2027, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
