Natural and man-made disasters leave devastation in their wake. Survivors end up with destroyed homes, lost possessions and medical emergencies and must start over with little or no resources. But in times of disaster, support from compassionate Catholics is a lifeline for families in crisis. By providing emergency meals, medicines, medical supplies, temporary shelter, clothing and spiritual support through our global network of ministry partners, we are able to share Christ’s love by meeting practical needs.
After Hurricane Melissa devastated Jamaica’s residential areas and agricultural sector last year, the generosity of caring Catholics enabled us to send aid to our local partners. We provided roofing materials and food for residents and helped fund the rebuilding of St. Theresa Kindergarten.

Donations from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for this project incurred through June 30, 2027, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
