Medical Projects

At least half of the world’s population lacks access to essential medical care, and the extremely high costs of health services is pushing families around the world into poverty. Meanwhile, there are huge gaps in medical service availability and quality in the developing world, resulting in the rampant spread of disease and untimely deaths among all age groups.

One way you can help the sick and suffering is to donate to one or more of our medical aid projects, which are fulfilled through our local ministry partners. Our medical projects offer healing and hope through free consultations in rural communities, rehabilitation care for the disabled, maternal health services for impoverished mothers and babies, humanitarian assistance to people with HIV and AIDS, and many other valuable efforts. When you donate to these projects, you help God’s children become healthier, safer, and more self-sufficient in daily life.

Medical Aid in the Philippines

Donate to help transform lives

The Philippines prison system is among the most overcrowded in the world. Female inmates — many of whom are shunned by friends and family — are regularly denied simple basic necessities. Sister Lianne Rainville and the Daughters of Wisdom want to extend God’s mercy to these forgotten women.

Special attention is given to the most vulnerable inmates — the elderly and pregnant — to ensure they have adequate medicine and bedding. The sisters arrange for one-on-one counseling and support group sessions, in order to listen to the inmates’ concerns and address spiritual needs. Your gift will help Sr. Lianne buy medicine, toiletries and other necessities, serving as a tangible reminder that they are valued by God.

Cross Catholic Outreach

Our mission is to mobilize the global Catholic Church to transform the poor and their communities materially and spiritually for the glory of Jesus Christ. Your gift empowers us to serve the poorest of the poor by channeling life-changing aid through an international network of dioceses, parishes and Catholic missionaries. This cost-effective approach helps break the cycle of poverty and advance Catholic evangelization.

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2022, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
