Fight Poverty in Mexico & Central America

This region is a major site of poverty in our world, especially in developing nations like Mexico, Guatemala and Nicaragua. The poverty rate has been over 59 percent in Guatemala and over 48 percent in Nicaragua in recent years. This means that families in these countries suffer from high maternal-child mortality rates, malnutrition, unlivable wages, and other devastating effects of poverty.

To meet these needs, Cross Catholic Outreach works in Guatemala, Nicaragua, and other Central American countries to keep children safe, provide nutritious food, train farmers to become successful and mentor students with a quality Catholic education.

Our Global Work

In everything we do, we remain focused on the Lord, serving with humility, fervor and love, and advancing Catholic evangelization. We work in partnership with church-based ministries and other faith-based organizations, creating an ideal synergy for the greatest impact.

Financial Accountability

At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

Fundraising & Administrative Expenses 4.62%
More than 95 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.
Audited Financials FY2021

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2022, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
