Many Haitian families live in simple rural communities located far from cities, giving them few opportunities to earn a reasonable income. As a result, these people remain trapped in the cycle of poverty. They suffer the daily heartbreak of not having enough food to feed their children and struggle to afford to send their sons and daughters to school.

Catholic leaders in the Diocese of Jacmel have created a new agricultural training ministry to enable parents to rise out of poverty and provide for their families. Financial Accountability

At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

More than 94 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.

Audited Financials FY2022

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2023, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
