Project 3623

Medical Aid in Ethiopia

Brothers of Good Works Counseling and Social Services Center

Donate to help transform lives

Ethiopian children with disabilities are stigmatized — often because they are seen as cursed. Communities shun such families and, because of widespread poverty, parents are ill-equipped to provide proper medical care and nutrition for their disabled children.

Cross Catholic Outreach supports the Brothers of Good Works Women Empowerment Center which provides rehabilitation, care, and support to these children and their families. By promoting community awareness about the true nature of disabilities, it also hopes to end the stigma disabled children and their parents endure.

Our Global Work

In everything we do, we remain focused on the Lord, serving with humility, fervor and love, and advancing Catholic evangelization. We work in partnership with church-based ministries and other faith-based organizations, creating and ideal synergy for the greatest impact.

Financial Accountability

At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

Fundraising & Administrative Expenses 5.97%
More than 94 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.
Audited Financials FY2023

Donations from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for this project incurred through June 30, 2025, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
