Ethiopia is one of the countries hardest hit by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Women there who contract HIV often face harsh stigmatization — especially those who are employed in prostitution.

Local Catholic leaders want to offer an empowerment program to draw these vulnerable women away from this dehumanizing work and place them on a path toward a better life. The outreach will provide basic business training to help these women pursue a healthier career, start-up business capital, mentorship and HIV de-stigmatization. Help us give these women a second chance!

Our Global Work

In everything we do, we remain focused on the Lord, serving with humility, fervor and love, and advancing Catholic evangelization. We work in partnership with church-based ministries and other faith-based organizations, creating and ideal synergy for the greatest impact.

Financial Accountability

At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

Fundraising & Administrative Expenses 5.82%
More than 94 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.
Audited Financials FY2022

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2023, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
