Food in Mozambique

ACM Elderly Food

Donate to help transform lives

The poor and vulnerable elderly often face extreme hardships in Mozambique. With no one to turn to for medical care, nutritious meals or spiritual support, they can easily become isolated and lose hope.

The ongoing AIDS crisis has caused many agencies to shift their focus to serving orphaned children, which also leaves the elderly feeling “out of sight, out of mind.” Our ministry partner — Association Cross Mozambique — wants to change that by distributing food, supplying basic medicine and providing preventative health care to destitute elders. You can empower this important ministry of mercy.

Our Global Work

In everything we do, we remain focused on the Lord, serving with humility, fervor and love, and advancing Catholic evangelization. We work in partnership with church-based ministries and other faith-based organizations, creating and ideal synergy for the greatest impact.

Financial Accountability

At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

Fundraising & Administrative Expenses 5.97%
More than 94 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.
Audited Financials FY2023

Donations from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for this project incurred through June 30, 2025, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
