Project 1401

Agriculture in Haiti

Rural Women’s Farming

Donate to help transform lives

Compassionate Catholics have a unique opportunity to bring Christ’s mercy to struggling families in an impoverished area of rural Haiti. In this case, the Bureau de Nutrition et Dévelopement is partnering with St. Andre Chapel to break the cycle of poverty that has gripped many of its families.

With your support, women and their children will learn how to plant and tend home gardens using sustainable agricultural methods. This will allow women to grow their own food season after season, helping to end malnutrition and earn money for their children’s schooling.

Our Global Work

In everything we do, we remain focused on the Lord, serving with humility, fervor and love, and advancing Catholic evangelization. We work in partnership with church-based ministries and other faith-based organizations, creating and ideal synergy for the greatest impact.

Financial Accountability

At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

Fundraising & Administrative Expenses 5.97%
More than 94 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.
Audited Financials FY2023

Donations from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for this project incurred through June 30, 2025, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
