Poverty is so extreme in Peru’s destitute urban neighborhoods that elder men and women are often left behind or are abandoned.
Confused and often suffering from dementia, these grandparents live a lonely life on the streets and may not even remember how they got there. Your support will enable a Catholic ministry to welcome them into a loving environment with nutritious food, health care and social engagement. Even if these men and women forget their identities, we can remind them that they are beloved sons and daughters of God.

Financial Accountability
At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

More than 94 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.
Audited Financials FY2022
Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2023, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
