In rural Jamaica, few people are able to find gainful employment, so many men and women struggle to survive on a series of small jobs without any hope of securing regular full-time work and enjoying the stability that provides.
Living in this way also makes it virtually impossible for them to rent or own quality homes, so their families typically live in small, crowded houses that provide little safety, security or comfort – and may even leak or collapse when strong storms strike the island. By partnering with Cross Catholic Outreach and our in-country ministry partner, you can help provide these desperate families with sturdy, safe, sanitary homes that will bring them hope and a greater sense of God’s love.

Financial Accountability
At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

More than 94 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.
Audited Financials FY2022
Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2024, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
