Education in Jamaica

St. Theresa Kindergarten

Donate to help transform lives

In the small Jamaican town of Black River, poor families have few opportunities for advancement. Seeing this need, the Diocese of Mandeville wants to reach out to the impoverished community through St. Theresa Kindergarten, a safe place for young children to begin their education.

The loving teachers at the school place emphasis on faith, character formation and building a solid academic foundation. With a Catholic education, impoverished children will have an opportunity for a brighter future. Your gift will sponsor teachers’ salaries, bringing hope to children in poverty!

Our Global Work

In everything we do, we remain focused on the Lord, serving with humility, fervor and love, and advancing Catholic evangelization. We work in partnership with church-based ministries and other faith-based organizations, creating an ideal synergy for the greatest impact.

Financial Accountability

At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

Fundraising & Administrative Expenses 4.62%
More than 95 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.
Audited Financials FY2021

When you select an aid project, your donation to that project will be used to cover any expenditures for the project incurred through June 30, 2023, the close of our ministry's fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
