When a drought or other natural disaster destroys crops in northern Kenya, many poor farm families are forced to leave their pastoral livelihoods to seek refuge in the city of Kitale. Unfortunately, most find that their lives are no better in the city’s slum communities.
As they spiral deeper into poverty, their children can end up on the street, begging for food and risking being abused and exploited. An outreach by St. John Bosco wants to rescue those vulnerable children from a life of hardships and provide them with food, education and a safe environment. But they will need your help to succeed. Financial Accountability
At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

Audited Financials FY2022
Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2023, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
