Vulnerable Children in Kenya

Marie Adelaide Girls Rescue Center

Donate to help transform lives

In the Maasai community of southern Kenya, protecting girls’ human rights is a challenge. Female genital mutilation (FGM) and forced early marriage are deeply rooted cultural customs that many young girls must undergo — even though FGM is illegal in the country.

These dangerous and degrading practices are harmful to young women, so Church leaders have created support programs to help. At the Marie Adelaide Girls Rescue Center, vulnerable young women can be provided with shelter, food, counseling and the opportunity to attend a local school — but to succeed with this mission of mercy, the Center needs your help. Please give today to provide these young women with a path to greater opportunities and hope!

Financial Accountability

At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

Fundraising & Administrative Expenses 5.97%
More than 94 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.
Audited Financials FY2023

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2024, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
