GAHDA Animal Husbandry
Donate to help transform lives
So many Haitian families are trapped in poverty that nearly half of the population needs immediate food assistance and one in five children are chronically malnourished.
Families are especially vulnerable in the remote areas of Grand’Anse, where parents have little education or job training. This new outreach will empower destitute mothers with training in animal husbandry so they can raise animals to create a long-term source of revenue. Your support will provide 150 families with two sheep or goats to begin their new venture. Because participants share their livestock’s offspring with others, the impact of this outreach can grow and grow!

Financial Accountability
At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2023, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
