Cáritas Vocational School was started by Catholic Archdiocese of Arequipa to fill a need created by the migration of rural Quechuan families into the city.
To make this empowerment program work, Cross Catholic Outreach has been funding free on-site day care for students’ young children. That way, the students don’t have to juggle parenting with attending the classes they need for gainful employment. Sadly, the day care has not yet been able to reopen since the outbreak of COVID-19. To help these families during this difficult time, you can fund the diocese’s effort to regularly visit them at their homes and provide much-needed food baskets. Your generosity will prevent hunger and empower disadvantaged students.
In everything we do, we remain focused on the Lord, serving with humility, fervor and love, and advancing Catholic evangelization. We work in partnership with church-based ministries and other faith-based organizations, creating an ideal synergy for the greatest impact.
Giving monthly is a small way to have a big impact. Your regular support empowers our ministry to respond to urgent needs and fulfill our long-term projects across the world.

At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

Our mission is to mobilize the global Catholic Church to transform the poor and their communities materially and spiritually for the glory of Jesus Christ. Your gift empowers us to serve the poorest of the poor by channeling life-changing aid through an international network of dioceses, parishes and Catholic missionaries. This cost-effective approach helps break the cycle of poverty and advance Catholic evangelization.
When you select an aid project, your donation to that project will be used to cover any expenditures for the project incurred through June 30, 2022, the close of our ministry's fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
