Water shortages are common in the impoverished communities of Venezuela. When water becomes scarce, families must go in search of it, and they often end up having to rely on contaminated sources. Institutions such as hospitals and convents face additional hardships and may be forced to ration water among those in their care.

With a compassionate heart for these struggling people, Catholic leaders in the Diocese of San Cristóbal have created an outreach to install water storage tanks in communities that frequently face shortages. Water tanks and required infrastructure are beyond the resources of destitute communities but will become a reality with your support.

Financial Accountability

At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

More than 94 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.

Audited Financials FY2022

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2023, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
