Health Care in Zambia

St. Joseph Health Center

Donate to help transform lives

In rural Zambia, many poor women give birth at home without health care because there are no hospitals or medical clinics in their area.

This leads to an increased risk of infections and life-threatening complications for both mothers and their babies. To meet this need, the Borromeo Sisters run the St. Joseph’s Health Center, where expectant mothers can receive prenatal care and stay at a shelter before, during and after labor. With your help, we can help mothers welcome happy and healthy babies into the world!

Our Global Work

In everything we do, we remain focused on the Lord, serving with humility, fervor and love, and advancing Catholic evangelization. We work in partnership with church-based ministries and other faith-based organizations, creating and ideal synergy for the greatest impact.

Financial Accountability

At Cross Catholic, we meticulously honor the intent of our donors. All proceeds are restricted for the specific project for which they are raised. In that rare event that more funds are received than are required for a specific project, the additional funds will be used to meet the most urgent needs.

Fundraising & Administrative Expenses 5.97%
More than 94 percent of all organizational expenses, including donated goods, went directly to programs that help the poor.
Audited Financials FY2023

Donations from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for this project incurred through June 30, 2025, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
