40,000 Meals Packed by the Haiti Committee at St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Auburn, AL Food Packing Event

The Haiti Committee at St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Auburn, AL partnered with Cross Catholic Outreach to pack 40,000 meals for the hungry in Haiti. Cross Catholic Outreach will ship the food to Catholic partners in Haiti for distribution to needy families.

Nearly one billion people go to bed hungry each night. Children in the poorest countries — including Haiti — might go days without anything substantial to fill their stomachs. Around the world, nearly 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes each day — one child every five seconds.

You can join the fight against this hunger. In 2019, Cross Catholic Outreach shipped 31.3 million nutrient-rich meals to feed the hungry in six developing countries. Your donation today helps us nourish even more hungry bodies and souls.

Your parish, school or organization can join the fight against world hunger by hosting a food packing event in partnership with Cross Catholic Outreach. These events bring communities together to pack Vitafood and raise the funds necessary to ship these life-saving meals to the poorest of the poor around the world.

You can bless impoverished families by joining this noble cause today. May God bless you abundantly for your generosity and compassion.

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures incurred through June 30, 2021, the close of our ministry’s new fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
